Here’s his description of his midiclock-integrated setup :
The Headsynth is a facemask with seven knobs and an accelerometer reacting to head movements.
(is not really a synth, just a MIDI-controller to make it look and feel like you have a synth in your head!)
The Gravity Harp is a metal frame with 2 pendulums, 2 springs and 2 goseneck lights, their movements being sensed by 2-dimensional accelerometers.
The analog signals are converted to MIDI to live-generate and modulate electronic music and vector graphics.
My aim is to go beyond the practice of merely adding suitable visuals to music (or vice versa) and create a supra-modal instrument where visual and musical expression as well as physical movement and spatial experience are linked together already from the onset of their conception.
MIDIclock has become an essential part of my live setup, allowing me to control the tempo (for example from one of the knobs of the Headsynth mask), keeping synch between synth arpeggios, beats and delay effects…

- new skinned start button for faster response and improved flashing. (previously the start button acted on mouse release, now on mouse down)
- improved timer accuracy and stability
- removed "no midi in port selected" useless warning
- The width and height are now stored in the application_presets section as : MAINSCREENPOSITIONWIDTH and MAINSCREENPOSITIONHEIGHT .
- input 0xF5 now is defined as : multiplier 1 with offset 40. This will give a controllable bpm range "41 to 168"
- [APPLICATION_PRESETS] was expanded with the setting DONTASKSAVESETTINGS, to allow avoiding the 'save settings' question


Create MYINPUTDRV.INI in the subdirectory indrv.

Create this content (for example, this is for my LPD8, K1 button, use midi learn later on to override the midi input code with your own)

Copy the values from the excel file into the INI file.
You will get something like this. (replace , by . if necessary, this depends on your regional settings).

Now save the INI and start midiclock, after setting the correct input code for your controller,
you can use this custom map. (and you can create any new one using calc or excel)

The resulting sample input driver is available here (rename to MYINPUTDRV.INI and place in indrv) .
