December 18, 2009Serge Comments Off on Yamaha A4000 / A5000Midi Clock synchronization on the A4000 and A5000 can be done on the program LFO menu :
Key sequence : [PLAY] Button ? [F6] Button ? Knob 1 to select “PLAY-PgmLFO”
Then you can use Knob 3 to select the LFO Sync method.
This parameter determines whether or not the LFO speed will be synchronized to an external MIDI controller :
You can set it to MIDI on the A4000 : The LFO speed is synchronized to a MIDI clock signal received via the MIDI IN connector.
On the A5000, there are two midi in ports and as a result also two settings :
MIDI-A : The LFO speed is synchronized to a MIDI clock signal received via the MIDI IN-A connector.
MIDI-B : The LFO speed is synchronized to a MIDI clock signal received via the MIDI IN-B connector.
The Yamaha A4000 and A5000 are very nice samplers.
