you can set the MIDI SYNC setting to MIDI :
With a setting of MIDI, the RM1x will be controlled by MIDI Clock messages received from MIDI IN. Select this setting if you are using the RM1x as a slave device for synchronized play. This is the setting to use when synchronizing the RM1x to an external MIDI device, for example to midiclock.
